Lecture by Peter Sloot, Scientific Director at the Institute for Advanced Study, who was invited by ICTU for their ICTU cafe on June 22nd, 2021.
IAS Scientific Director Peter Sloot was invited by ICTU – a government organisation in the Netherlands that promotes and supports digitalisation to improve public services – to share his views on how complexity science may offer new ways to understand and address wicked societal problems. In this presentation he explains how novel integrative methods can help policymakers to explore new avenues of intervention by simulating all kinds of what-if scenarios in digital twins.
